Welcome to FaithLifeGroup.com! Our new Life Group website is now up and running! Thanks to my wife Sharon, and our son Andrew, for many hours of work in putting all of this together. Thanks to Rod Perkins, our official “Beta Tester!” As you will see, the new website looks a lot like the old site, but be assured, there have been a lot of “behind-the-scenes” changes that make the new site a lot leaner, cleaner, and more useful. FaithLifeGroup.com is totally customized for our Life Group, so it’s not like any other website out there. The design and functionality of the site is, and will always be determined by the needs and desires of our members, balanced with appropriate available technology. Please read all of the following information. If you have questions that are not answered here, please e-mail me by clicking HERE. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What’s New? FaithLifeGroup.com is now a dedicated domain (web address) for our Life Group. We are no longer piggybacking on muzitek.com. One of the most exciting aspects of FaithLifeGroup.com is the new Members Only section. We now have a member database that will provide more useful information to members that will be more up-do-date. Each member of our Life Group should register as an individual. Why should I register? Some of the benefits of registration are:
Can we register as a couple? Please do not register as a couple. Each person will be able to enter their birthday (day/month) and contact information. Couples who share a single e-mail address should enter the same e-mail address in each individual registration. I just registered, but I still can’t log in. What’s going on? All member registrations are moderated, meaning that registrations must be approved by an administrator before they become active. Approvals will always happen within a few hours. My information has changed. How do I update it on the website? Members are now able to edit their own information. Changes will display immediately! Simply click on “Modify Your Contact Information” and make the appropriate changes. Your information will be updated on the website instantly! I know someone who is new to our class. Can I just give them my login information until they decide if they want to register? Do not give your username or password out to anyone. This is to protect the privacy of all members. If you want to refer a new member to the site, they should register the same as everyone else. How do I find another member’s contact information? When you want to view members’ contact information, log in to the Members Only section with your own unique username and password and click on “Members Contact Information.” Click the column headers to sort the list. For example, click on BIRTHDAY to sort the list by birthday. Or click on CARE GROUP to sort by Care Group. We’re seasonal residents. Can we enter two addresses in our information? For our seasonal members, when you travel back to your homes outside of SW Florida, simply log in and update/edit your information. Set your CARE GROUP as “Out of Area.” Be sure that when you return to Florida, you update your address again. I want to send out a prayer request. How do I do that? To send a prayer request, log into the Members Only section and click on “Submit Your Prayer Request.” Prayer requests sent through the new site will go out automatically – and immediately, to everyone who is registered in the new database with a valid e-mail address. Can’t I just e-mail my prayer request to you or Sharon? If you want a request to go out to the entire group, please do not e-mail them to me or Sharon. Instead, log into the Members Only section at FaithLifeGroup.com and click on “Submit Prayer Request.” Prayer requests that are intended for the group and that are mailed to me will be respectfully returned to you, unsent. Are there any changes to the treats list? Members will still be able to sign up for treats online. These sign-ups will not appear immediately on the site, but will always be updated within a few hours. What if I have problems with the website, or have other questions? No problem.
